Sharks and Soup

Sharks are being killed for the consumption of shark fin soup. It needs to be banned. Eradicated. Read more about this specific issue in a great on-line article posted here. And more about shark conservation from a great organization and wonderful web site here.

I sometimes wonder how people sleep at night. Just the thought of cutting off a living creatures body part dead, let alone alive, makes me weak in the knees. I thinks its great they are getting celebrities to speak out against such a terrible thing. I was extremely shocked by the 32 tons of shark fins that were found on the fishing boat (14,000-29,000 sharks) that was apprehended by the Coast Guard.
